Headrest Cushion Ergohead

Two types of headrest cushions are available: one for office seats/armchairs and one for vehicle seats. Head rest cushions help to keep the neck and head aligned with the spine. Their primary objective is to improve posture and lift the gaze while improving visual comfort. They are also useful in situations when the seat headrests are not adjustable. In these cases the headrest cushions offer adjustable depth and thickness in order to fit with user’s morphology. Lack of support may increase the risk of developing Repetitive Strain Injuries such as the turtle syndrome. Operators having to adjust daily to their workstation, lead them to work in improper positions due to neck stretch and head movements increasing muscle tension, creating neck and shoulder blades pain. The “ideal” position is when the user sits at the back of the seat, head and back aligned, pelvis and lower back perpendicular; the head rest cushion then, hold the upper body. The Ergohead are delivered with 3 wedges to adjust the thickness of the cushion, the ones with a fixing system, come with two types of fasteners, one is a harness system and the other elastic straps.
