Forearm support

Forearm supports aim to reduce and relieve the load of upper limbs. As a result, shoulder-arm muscle tensions are minimized since the arms are placed on the support. The supports are mainly installed at the edge of the desk to increase the work surface while balancing the body weight and improving posture. In confined spaces with little available worktop, users do not have an optimal posture as their forearms and elbow are not resting on the desk. According to studies that have been carried out in this field, the arm weights around 7Kgs. As it is supported by the shoulders, it becomes a heavy permanent load creating neck, back and shoulders muscles tensions which can lead to MSDs.
